- Library days are now on Thursdays (Day 1s) - Please return any books that have been read so a new book can be checked out!!!
- Every month, you will receive a monthly report on your child’s progress and work habits in the classroom – Ma fiche du mois. Please take the time to go over this report with your child and return it to us at your earliest convenience. Thank you in advance!
- Our guided reading program is beginning this month and along with that we would like our students to start maintaining a reading log – “Mon journal de lecture”. Starting this coming Friday, every week we will be sending home a reader/book with your child. We encourage your child to read this book a number of times, once is not enough! An important note… If we do not receive a book we have sent home back by the end of the following week, your child cannot receive another until it is returned. These books are our classroom resources and are invaluable (not to mention very difficult to have replaced!). Your understanding is greatly appreciated! As well, please record (or have your child record) any and all other books your child reads – English included!
